Need for Speed by Ella Frank

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Need for Speed, book two of The Elite series, picked up right off from the cliffhanger in Danger Zone. While the first book was filled with sexual tension as Grant and Mateo fought and resist their attraction towards each other, this book was filled with swoon as their relationship blossomed. I was loving every minute of this thrilling ride.

Lawless Kingdom – Natalie Bennett

Lawless Kingdom by Natalie Bennett

My rating: 3.75 of 5 stars

Lawless Kingdom kicked off an intriguing and captivating dark mafia romance series. The wickedness and mystery of the book pulled me in from the very beginning. As this is the first in the series, there was a lot of ground work and story building. I’m liking what I’ve read so far even if the story seems a bit choppy and incomplete.

Bully Me: Class of 2020

Bully Me: Class of 2020 by Shantel Tessier

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Old Fashioned by Kandi Steiner

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is no secret that I loved Kandi’s work because every book I’ve read from her made me feel everything. Old Fashioned rounded up the Becker Brothers series beautifully. I was totally consumed in this bitter-sweet and angst filled romance. Besides the agonizingly intense romance, I loved the special bond between the brothers; there were so much love in the family. In this story, she also explored some real-life serious issues such as racial and gender inequalities which was so valid in today’s world. This book was definitely a heartfelt and inspiring conclusion to a fantastic series.

After the Fall – Giana Darling

After the Fall by Giana Darling
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Heartbreaking and twisted, After the Fall, brought us back to the Fallen compound. This intense and passionate read explored Cressida and King’s journey beyond falling in love. We have witnessed the couple’s journey to the “I love you”’ in Lessons in Corruption. Five years later, the couple’s love was still strong, but their relationship was stressed because of an unjust situation that was brought upon by one of the Fallen MC’s enemies.
