I truly enjoyed this dark, sexy and intense enemies-to-lovers mafia romance. While the dangerous actions and near-death experiences were thrilling, the romance was scorching. Aida and Callum were totally opposites. I loved watching them pranked and one-upped another at the beginning. Their wits and determination were admirable. Even though they swore they hated each other, the sexual tension between them thickened exponentially as they were forced to spend time together. When they finally came together, it was hot and explosive.
Sexy and steamy, A New Enemy kicked off the Enemies duet with some hotness. Since the book was advertised as enemies-to-lovers, I was expecting lots of push and pulls, arguments, angry kissing/sex. However, the enemies’ vibes were lacking and, in its place, there were lots of hotness, sweetness and deliciousness. This installment was on the short side and ended with a frustrating cliff-hanger which might lead to the potential of the anticipated enemies vibe coming in the next book.
Dark and twisted, Kings of Blood & Money was a deliciously sinful MFM mafia romance involving a pair of twisted twins and an orphaned girl. I was captured from the very beginning by all the secrets and mystery.
I cannot believe we are at the third generation of the Aces MC. I had mixed feelings about Craving Kara and I found it difficult to rate this second chance romance.
I was excited to go back to the underworld of New York in Forbidden to Love. I once again got lost in a mesmerizing world filled with passion, secrets and danger. There was never a dull moment in this dark mafia world and I was totally consumed from the very beginning to the end.
